Meet Aimee:
Your PCOS & Diabetes Specialist
Hi!
I'm Aimee — a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator based in Alberta, Canada, and a University of Alberta grad with experience across many areas of health.
Diabetes management has been at the heart of my career from the start. I've worked extensively with people navigating this diagnosis, and there's nothing more rewarding than watching my clients take control and thrive.
As someone who personally lives with PCOS, helping women manage their symptoms hits close to home. I know firsthand how frustrating it can be — and I'm here to help you reverse your PCOS symptoms and improve your insulin resistance through nutrition and lifestyle changes that actually work, without over-restriction or confusion.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me spending time with my husband and daughter, horseback riding through the mountains in the summer, or picking up a new hobby — my latest obsession is crocheting. I'm a big believer in balance, and that same philosophy is at the heart of how I approach nutrition with my clients.
More About Me
-
A certified diabetes educator (CDE) is a health care professional who is specialized and certified to teach people with diabetes how to manage their condition.
-
Nutrition and health has always been a priority for me. At one point it became a bit of an unhealthy obsession. I decided to go into dietetics to be able to help people with their health while fostering a healthy relationship with food! I am so grateful every day for the career path I chose!
-
My favorite food is ice cream! Especially Ben and Jerry's Netflix and Chill'd. I refuse to ever tell someone that they have to cut out their favourite food, so yes, you can still eat ice cream and improve your insulin resistance and PCOS!
